On behalf of the staff, children, parents and governors I would like to warmly welcome you to Westwood with Iford Primary School. We believe our school is a happy and purposeful place to learn, with a strong sense of community, where children are always encouraged to aim high. 

Every member of our skilled and dedicated staff is committed to the safety and care of our pupils and we continually strive to make learning fun and to provide an education that develops the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. Emergency Closures
​
A decision  may be made by the School Governors and Headteacher to close the school at short notice, for example due to extremely severe weather conditions. We will, of course, endeavour to give parents as much notice as possible via email and/or text message, and on this website.

It is important that the school is kept up-to-date with changes to contact details to ensure we can contact parents in an emergency.

Parents can also listen to their local radio station as details of school closures will be broadcast. You can also check these websites for more information.
