HOME LEARNING - 3/4/20
Welcome to Fabulous Friday and what a week it has been! So much wonderful learning has been taking place and I would like to say a BIG well done and thank you to everyone for everything you have done over the past two weeks.
Of course, after today we break for Easter so there will be no daily activities on the website. Enjoy your family time. Enjoy being together. But if you have a few moments and fancy something different, try our Life Skills Bingo on the Home Learning Page or one or two of the web links to keep your brain active.
RadioBlogging will be continuing with daily shows throughout Easter, so please join us for those and write along with Pie Corbett, Deputy Mitchell, Russell Prue and myself. Head to radioblogging.net and join us from 9.30am every day. Watch out for a couple of Easter radio shows too!
I will be taking a break from my afternoon show for a couple of weeks, but you can still get your shout outs in:
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for including in the show or text 078600 17404 for a mention.
I will miss not celebrating Easter in our usual fashion - for the first time ever I will not be leading Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Rolling! Have fun, stay safe and a very Happy Easter to you all.
Every morning, tune into Westwood Radio at 9.30am and join in with Radioblogging, a fun and interactive start to your day . Write stories, comment on other's work and learn along with educational professionals Pie Corbett, DeputyMitchell, Russell Prue and Mr Rockey. Click HERE to go straight to the RadioBlogging website.
Every afternoon at 2.15pm Mr Rockey will also be hosting a radio show and leading work on a shared blog - http://westwoodblogs.net/learning. Do please send shout outs for friends and join in.
Here are the links to your class pages where, from tomorrow morning, you will find daily activities you can work on and enjoy:

We hope you all have fun with your learning and stay safe and well.
COVID-19 Update - 20/3/20
Following the Government announcement on Wednesday, from this afternoon, Westwood with Iford School will be closed until further notice.
The Home Learning processes put in place and issued, in anticipation of this announcement, mean that our pupils will continue to have access and support to daily learning.
Details for those children who may be eligible to come to school during the shutdown have now been finalised and sent to all parents. Please take care, look after yourselves and each other in the community. We hope to see you all again soon.
Welcome to Our School
On behalf of the staff, children, parents and governors I would like to warmly welcome you to Westwood with Iford Primary School. We believe our school is a happy and purposeful place to learn, with a strong sense of community, where children are always encouraged to aim high.
Every member of our skilled and dedicated staff is committed to the safety and care of our pupils and we continually strive to make learning fun and to provide an education that develops the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. I do hope that you enjoy browsing our school’s website and that it gives you an insight into all that we do at Westwood with Iford. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help you in any way and I would be delighted to show you around our school, of which we are very proud.
