Thank you to everyone who took the time to contribute to the recent Published Admission Number (PAN) review. Your engagement was invaluable in helping the Trust Board understand the views and priorities of our community.

The Trust Board met to consider all representations made during the consultation. After reviewing the strength and breadth of the feedback, the Board has agreed not to proceed with the proposed reduction in the PAN for 2027–28.

In sharing their decision, the Board expressed how struck they were by the passion, clarity and unity of response from all stakeholders. Your contributions clearly demonstrated that Westwood with Iford School is truly at the heart of its community—valued not only for the education it provides, but for the relationships, traditions and sense of belonging that make our school so special.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who participated. Your voices made a real difference, and this outcome reflects the collective commitment we all share to the future of our school.
